QA Developer

Responsabilities as QA Developer 

… write functional tests for backend and frontend applications;

… plan, design, develop and execute test frameworks in order to optimize the test cases automation;

… write automated test cases using Selenium, Java and jUnit/TestNG;

… be responsible for the document of test plans, test cases and test reports;

… organize your tests to ensure functionality coverage;

… integrate your tests with continuous integration servers ;

… report the bugs found by the tests;

Requirements

… experience with Selenium or other test automation tools;

… interest in developing testing frameworks;

… knowledge of jUnit or TestNG, maven or ant;

… knowledge of web protocols (REST, SOAP, JSON);

… knowledge of version control systems (Subversion, Git);

… know how to read a system specification to understand the purpose and structure of the system;

… look at a system and its specification and from these understand the areas to be tested;

… very good communication skills and a great team player;

… fluent in English (both written and spoken).

Would be a plus:

… previous development experience in Java;

… knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. JavaScript, JScript)

… knowledge of performance testing, preferable with jMeter

… experience with continuous integration (preferably Hudson/Jenkins);

… ISTQB certification;
