Inginer proiectant instalatii – junior

The main task will be to design mechanical installations in commercial and industrial buildings according to European, Romanian and Swedish regulations a s well as internal standards, to include:

• Drafting 2D and 3D-drawings for HVAC
• Drafting PID´s (Process Diagrams/ Functional Schematics)
• Preparing pressure drop calculations
• Equipment sizing and selection of pipes, ducts, parts and fittings etc.
• Drafting Reports and other written documents in English and/or Romanian, as required
• Follow in full the QA processes relevant to project work, ensuring drawings, specifications, reports and correspondence are prepared, issued, filed and archived in an appropriate manner, in accordance with the company’s QA protocols.

Further responsibilities include:

• Support the Project leader by contributing to feasibility options and preparing sketch designs on options.
• Coordinate with the Mechanical design engineers and all other relevant disciplines.
• Liaise with the design team members to convey the requirements of the Mechanical service to them, as well as understanding the client brief.
• Attend Tender clarification meetings with Contractors as Designer’s representative.
• Respond to contractor queries and attend site progress meetings.
• Deal with the day to day queries from site, ensuring that relevant information is available on time for construction activity.
• Undertake site inspections and prepare Technical Due Diligence reports.
• Undertake site inspections to monitor the progress of the Mechanical Works as the Designer’s representative, aiming to ensure the works are carried out at an appropriate quality, and are in accordance with the Design specifications.
• Assist in compiling final documents for handover.
• Demonstrate awareness of project risk issues, flagging potential problems to Project leader.
• Demonstrate awareness of company’s corporate values.
• Demonstrate sound work ethics in respect of the company’s ABC (Anti-Bribery and Corruption) principles.
• Report to the Line Manager any issues that may affect the effective delivery of projects on agreed deadlines, the quality of the projects or any other points likely to affect the company’s image.
• Develop positive professional relationship with clients.
• Participate in team meetings, disseminate information within the team, and communicate with other teams.
• Accurately complete the timesheets ahead of weekly deadlines.
• Contributes to increased sustainability awareness in the organization.
• Plans and steers own assignment work, optimizes use of resources.
• Builds relations to present clients and shares business opportunities for the department and other departments.

Education and experience:

• Master of Science or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, specialized in HVAC and/or Public Health & Fire Fighting systems
• High proficiency of English reading, writing and speaking to a professional/technical level.

Data/IT

• Very good skills in Auto CAD;
• Good skills in Magic CAD;
• Good skills in Microsoft Office;
• Experience in Navis Works or similar programs;
• Experience in pipe dimensioning programs;

Personal qualities

• Ability to work in a team and demonstrate work and moral ethics;
• Ability to respect deadlines and achieve targeted results whilst working individually.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in both Romanian and English.
• Adapts easily to different work requirements and conditions.
