Business Development Manager Romania and Balkan countries

Position

The company wishes to expand its sales activity in Romania and Balkan countries and wishes to hire a sales professional with experience in the building material industry to expand its customer network. He/she will report to the European Managing Director.

He/she will be in charge of:

• Developing a network of contractors in Romania and Balkan countries
  • Identify and train potential contractors
  • Work with existing contractors and distributors to develop their regional sales activities
• Leading certification and promotion activities in Romania and Balkan countries
  • Develop specification projects with contractors
  • Liaise with certification authorities

Profile

• Bachelor or Master or equivalent by experience
• 5 years min sales experience in the building material industry. Preferable sectors: drywall, insulation, air conditioning, heating systems, ventilation, fire material
• Good communications and presentation skills
• Self-starter and organized
• Ability to work with a technical product, talk business and sell value (vs. commodity)
• Experience in working with international companies
• Romanian native with good English knowledge and possibly other languages
