JAVA SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Responsibilities:

– Solving complex issues through critical thinking and decision-making
– Debug and troubleshoot existing Java code
– Planning, designing and implementing new features
– Collaborating with team members, associated QA team, and other development teams.

Required Skills:

– Has 10 years of experience with Java
– Has used at least 10 java open source libraries
– Able to build complete components from scratch
– Knows how, when, and where to store data
– Has experience with eclipse PDE (EMF, GEF, GMF, etc.)
– Can identify/debug problem causes quickly and efficiently
– Writes elegant tree traversals/recursive methods on the fly
– Writes concise and efficient code
– Is open to give/receive suggestions and likes simplicity
– Effectively integrates their work with others
– Is effective at work context switching
– Speaks English fluently.

Pluses:

– C# experience
– COBOL experience
– Natural experience.
