Lead Developer/Full stack

Who you are: You believe in building web apps with a mission, you do want to make a difference in the community. You are a dreamer and a tinkerer. You are not afraid to experiment with technology and move away from the beaten path. And you are definitely a self-starter!

You have:

1-5 years of experience in agile software development

Front End – Proficient with a modern web technology stack. We are currently using:  HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS, jQuery .

Backend – Good grasp of algorithms, design patterns and data structures

Experience with NodeJS and/or Express (our current technology)

Excellent understanding of the HTTP/HTTPS Protocol and RESTful Services;

Experience working with Relational databases (e.g. MSSQL) Nice to have: basic nonSQL concepts (e.g. MongoDB)

Key activities:

Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.

Creating web layout/user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS practices.

Integrating data from various back-end services and databases.

Develop and deploy code to production site.

Maintain existing code.

Troubleshoot problems.

Scale-up our current web development capabilities.
