Procurement Manager – Hunedoara
Main mission: Ensure the supply of the requested quantity and quality of materials required for the mill of Hunedoara according to the Purchasing strategy.
Main activities and responsibility:
- Support the mill in its TCO/VIU approach to material needs
- Assess the local/external market, repartition the needs to different suppliers, negotiate the best terms & conditions, ensure delivery of correct quality & quantity
- Play an active role in aligning all stakeholders to the strategy
- Manage emergencies
- Track and follow-up orders and deliveries
- Evaluate suppliers and propose areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance
- Manage the supplier portfolio for the perimeter
- Collaborate with European Purchasing Organization to coordinate the buying strategy within EU
- Carry out benchmarking exercises to bring best practices to Hunedoara
Profile
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and effective communication skills
- Rigor, autonomy, results orientation, proactive approach
- Ability and willingness to be on the field to execute the strategy
- Education, Graduate with Higher Education
- Strong integrity, high stress-pressure resistance
- Languages: 1. Romanian 2. English
- Advanced knowledge of Office IT tools – Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Internet Explorer
- Knowledge and usage of SAP – will be an added advantage
- Ability to process information, interpret and capitalize on it by providing processed data to decision-makers;
- Communication and negotiation ability;
- Experience: 5 to 10 years experience (preferably Industrial/Manufacturing)
- Collaborate with the other departments of the company
