Regional Sales Manager – stationery
Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing the stationery business for Romanian market, responsible for horizontal & vertical distribution through Distributors
- Build long-term partnerships with customers, based on win-win approach
- Advise distributors / SR’s to optimize sales area routs & to maximize efficiency
- Evaluate & monitor performance of each distributor SR – special report to monitor monthly SR KPI
- Manage directly big customers within a specific sales area (stationery chain) in order to develop the business
- Manage Accounts receivables of the distributor.
- Collect as much information regarding the sales process of distributors
- Monthly forecasting on the SKU level for distributors of each area – to be monitored monthly with sales forecaster.
- Coordinate dedicated distributors teams in order to develop the Business in Stationers.
- Work closely with designed team
- Together with Sales Representatives discover new customers and propose full approach for each prospect
- Weekly follow up on achievements based on the set up monthly targets,
- Responsible for Instore Visibility & Implementations
- Recommend, implement and follow-up on Customer Development Plans to maximize the sales result
- Placement in stores, in the agreed timings, of the POS marketing & visibility materials.
- Be aware of market evolution by maintaining close contact with the customers.
- Monitor Market & Competitors Evolution
- Constantly monitor competitors’ strategies and activities
- Make recommendations of strategies for short/medium/ long term at national / regional/ local/ customer group’s levels.
- Work closely with support functions within the company
- Monitor prices (competitors per each products) in the market and collect it if requested by the Line Manager
Required qualifications:
- University degree with a minimum of 2 – 3 years’ experience in people management.
- Business & results oriented.
- Experience in establishing & implementing sales targets and motivating people to achieve the targets.
- Management of priorities, well organized.
- Good external & internal contact skills, strong team player.
- Capacity to deal with much reporting & administrative work.
- Respect of procedures and processes.
- Resistance to stress.
- Good command of English
- Traveling 80% of the time
