Senior Sales Representative – chemical industry

Responsabilities

Will be responsible to increase company sales in accordance with the directions set by the company, preparation of the periodic reports (sales, competition, etc.) requested by the head of division in accordance with the working procedures communicated, maintain and increase the quality standards of services and achieves the quarterly sales target in addition to the following duties:
• Performs sales activities for the product’s portfolio of the company
• Possesses a thorough knowledge of the products promoted by the company
(technical specifications, quantities, prices and other characteristics)
• Permanently develops the database for potential new customers
• Ensures the opening, management and closure of sale cycles
• Negotiates the sales contracts, communicates the contract terms to the customers and makes sure to follow the debt recovery from the customers
• Stays in touch with the customers, in order to satisfy their needs, is actively involved in solving all problems arising from the commercial rotation with the customers
• Fulfills the visit and phone plan communicated by the sales manager of the department and acts in order to achieve the sales plan
• Is familiar with the elements of the competitive market, such as distributors, products, prices,
• Follows the working procedures when signing contacts with new and existing clients, invoicing, delivery and installation of the sold equipment

• Checks if the orders were invoiced and sent to customers and if the scheduled set-ups are completed

• Follows the receiving of correct amounts from the customers for the sold products. If repeatedly there is no way for negotiation with a client regarding the payments due by him, the sales rep is obliged to immediately inform the finance department, legal department and the general manager in order to determine the next steps together
• Manages the customer relations
• Develops positive relationships such as to ensure knowledge of customer needs in order to promote an optimal solution for each client
• Ensures the solving of the customer’s needs, while supporting the business interests
• Prepares the salesreports
• Updates the database of potential customers and effectively includes all data and actions in the special sales application.

Profile:
• Minimum 5 years sales experience within the chemical industry
• Knowledge of sales techniques, negotiation techniques,
presentation techniques
• General knowledge of Romanian business environment, market knowledge of chemical industry
• Communication skills at all levels, planning and organizational skills
• Good knowledge of English
• Punctuality,
perseverance
• Driving license type B
