Key Responsibilities:
1. Represents the contact person for organizational questions, together with ELR Supply Chain Specialist, filing of legal required documents, coordinate and supervise the warehouse team, the imports, orders & deliveries,
2. Safeguards warehouse operations, warehouse personnel safety & contents by establishing & monitoring security procedures & protocols.
Primary Objectives of Position:
– He/ She coordinates the inbound/outbound transportation activities of the Company
– Responsible for ensuring that all distribution functions are completed correctly & on-time within the distribution center
– Assists in resolving any discrepancies between delivery documents & the receiving ones
– Checks all transportation & Delivery invoices from third parties
– Reviews all work orders & picking forms
– Work closely with management to develop warehouse procedures which align with company objectives
– Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning & implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair & requisitions for replacement
– Coordinates the labeling process, stamp and sign docs
– Responsible for supervision of disposal and scrapping of over aged and damaged items on advice and in coordination with forecast department (marketing) and buyer
– Delivers supplies & equipment to departments by receiving & transferring items.
– Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.
– Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system
– Any other applicable duties that may arise on a day-to-day basis
– Administrative activities: monitor the staff involvement in daily activities, monitor the cleaning of the warehouse
– Asks offers for different value added activities (prepare bundle, labeling)
– Monitors the progress of daily activities and escalates any issue or deviation from commonly agreed cut-offs and procedures for: supplier’s receptions return reception and deliveries to all sales channels
– Asks for details for claims as damaged or missing products (inspect the quality of the pallets remained in the warehouse) and solve the situations together with Customer Service and our ClientsÂ
– System classification: Batch management (characteristics, classes, stock determination by batch characteristics), Serial number
– Logistics Execution: Shipping (Inbound & Outbound Delivery), Transportation (Shipments, Transport Cost, Transport Settlement),
– Preparing packing list
– Distribution: control picking & packing of goods, coordinate the outgoing shipments, and care for appropriate shipping method.
– Maintain the relation with courier company
– Maintain communication with our store managers
– Load/Unload trucks (heavy lifting will occasionally apply)
– Receiving: spot check of incoming goods VS documents (quantity & batch), take care of fast replenishing of „Out-of-stock-Items” & fluent processing of „goods in”
– Document flow control for goods receiving process
– Document flow control for returns processes
– Preparing documents for submitting to office
– Archiving
– Ensures that operations are performed according to contractual clauses and procedures
– Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Professional Knowledge:
• English: advanced
• MS Office: Excel -advanced, Power Point, Word, Microsoft Outlook
• ERP user (SAP)
Experience and Education:
• Technical University degree represents an advantage (Polytechnic University -Transport)
• Logistics courses (Warehouse Transportation, Operations, Supply Chain) – would be a plus
• Previous experience in logistics
